The Trans 100 of 2015

The Trans 100

The Trans 100 seeks to increase visibility for the trans community by recognizing the achievements of trans people each year, and providing an overview of the diversity of the trans community across the United States. Each year, the organization builds a list of 100 noteworthy people who self-identify as trans by accepting nominations and considering the work that nominees are doing to create a positive tangible difference in the trans community.

The list of 100 Names is released on or around Transgender Day of Visibility – March 31st.

This year’s event was held in Chicago on Sunday, March 29th and was broadcast over livestream on the internet.

A booklet of 2015 winners will be released shortly.
